New York, NY - TAKE A BITE OUT OF BROADWAY FOR LUNCH! The best of Broadway will be presented FREE on six consecutive Thursdays this summer with “106.7 Lite fm Presents Broadway in Bryant Park 2011” – a lunchtime series beginning on Thursday July 7th at 12:30PM on the Bryant Park Stage. Sponsored by Bank of America, and Clean Air NY, and hosted by Lite fm’s on-air personalities, the eleventh annual presentation of open-air, On- and Off- Broadway lunch hour performances runs through August 11th. The event series is being produced by New York Promotion/Marketing Agency Pop2Life.

Recent Tony Award winning musicals and 2011 nominees such as Sister Act, Catch Me If You Can, Billy Elliot, Memphis, Hair, Jersey Boys, Rent, The Lion King, Avenue Q, Mamma Mia! and Priscilla Queen of the Desert, will all be stopping by to showcase some of their best musical numbers.

Now in its eleventh year, “106.7 Lite fm Presents Broadway in Bryant Park” will run from 12:30-1:30pm on the following Thursdays; July 7, 14, 21 and 28 and August 4 and 11. Bryant Park is located behind the New York Public Library on 6th Avenue between 40th and 42nd street. Lawn seating is first come-first-served.

As a bonus, Bank of America will award a year’s worth of free Broadway tickets to a lucky winner. Anyone can enter to win simply by visiting the Bank of America tent on the Bryant Park fountain terrace from 11am -2pm on any of the six Broadway in Bryant Park dates, or visit any participating Bank of America banking center.

Also, Clean Air NY each week will give attendees who pledge to reduce air pollution in New York chances to win front-row seats for future Broadway in Bryant Park shows, including lunch. One lucky weekly winner will score the grand prize of one unlimited monthly Metrocard. Clean Air NY is an initiative sponsored by the New York State Department of Transportation in support of downstate air-quality efforts.
